  1. From the lesson The differences between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama

    Fri, 11 Apr 2008 17:31:24 -0000

It is interesting. I’ll state upfront that I support Hilary. However, I can fully understand why Obama is so popular, he really does great speeches and has alot of personal appeal.

I wouldn’t be horribly upset if he won, I just think Hilary would be better. I can’t vote for someone because I “like” them. I have to vote because of the job they’ve done and the job I believe they will do.

I work for a Provincial program in Ontario. We work with health promotion professionals around the province.

What I’m trying to do lately is to acquaint colleagues with various online tools for collaborating. Sort of Collaborating Online on a Shoestring. This module was developed to help us all start to explore and think through various options.

Peter, thank you. I’ve been trying to muddle through this too. However, the system doesn’t seem to be saving my changes to private (so that it only goes to a course). When I go back to the course and click on lessons, it says there are none. If I go in and edit and drag and drop the lessons into the course and save, then go in to look, there STILL are none there.

I’d love to see a quick link to “my discussions” which would include any discussion that I’ve posted to, so I can quickly look for responses. (like in the support discussions).

for instance all the icons for lessons on the “Workspace” page. I just think the big icons use up too much space for no good reason.

Maybe things are being worked on as I type, but I’m trying to change my “lessons” to be available only to a course and the system doesn’t seem to be saving my changes.

At the moment, no, but we plan to incorporate that feature in the coming weeks as we see it an important aspect of courses.

That’s certainly true for addressing relevance. But what about ways to add a more personal touch? One of the biggest complaints from people is they miss that aspect of things.
