      Hi,

You can definitely pursue MS in Computer Science from top US universities. All you have to do is to score well in your GRE and come up with some very good SOPs explaining your interest to switch from Electronics to Computer Science. Also, when it comes to top universities besides your GRE score and SOPs, your academic profile, LORs do matter for granting admission. Also, some of the top universities may require you to take GRE subject test and for this please visit the websites of the top US universities.

      All the best

    Hi Deepa,

I am B.Tech(Electronics and Communication) from Thapar University with 8.4/10 CGPA. At present I am working in software MNC as a developer. I want to pursue my MS in IT. Would top universities be happy to take me if I have 1300 GRE score? You have any idea if MS in IT has good prospects for jobs in corporate world?

The higher your score, the better is you chance of getting into a top college. If you are aiming for the top university target for a score above 1400. Your admission into a top university depends on various other elements like GPA, letter of recommendation, SOP.

ANALOGY ANSWER: A EXPLANATION: As LUGUBRIOUS & DOLEFUL, both mean sad similarly, banal and insipid both mean stale

PROBLEM SOLVED: C EXPLANATION: Let y be the no of days he was absent, then 5(20-y) -1.5y= 80.5 which gives us y as 3 hence, percentage is (3/20)*100= 15%
