I don’t think it is in Nepal… here’s what Wikipedia says:
“K2 is part of the Karakoram segment of the Himalayan range, and is located on the border between Pakistan’s northern territories, and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Xinjiang, China.”
The other sites I checked list K2 as being in Pakistan as well.

Definitely they must have considered the facilities that enhance the study rather than campus. Faculty must the core concern for these students….
