I work at a college and do international recruiting – which means I get to travel to cool places and meet some great people. I love creating things (programs, materials), interior decorating, remodeling my house, building things with power tools, landscaping. I want to always have a job that challenges me to do new things and create something that didn’t exist before.
My grandmother influenced me to love nature, books, and travel. I want to be a blessing to my friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors, to know people from many different places, and to create beauty in my environment.
I LOVE to read. Favorite books: Winter Solstice, The Heaventree Trilogy, and The Chosen. Favorite authors: Rosamund Pilcher, Laurie King, and Edith Pargeter. When I don’t have access to a library, I feel deprived.
My most important achievement is raising my 2 sons to be strong, Godly men who love their families and serve their communities through work, church, and youth activities. Now that they are grown, I want to influence my 5 grandchildren as my grandmother influenced me – not by her words, but by her life.
