ya..U are right 3 hrs shouldnt decide someones future and even it cant be taken as a measure of a students talent or the hardwork he has put in 4 d past few years, but wid a country so huge like ours with over 3 lacs students giving the exams this is the best possible way ..
I dont thnk by removing the subjective type question they have simplified d paper ,they have just made the paper checking easier for them but this has made “luck” play an important role in the result .U have a 25% prob. that your answer is right even if its guessed nad we all know how much difference 3 marks can make to your rank.With subjective q. as the criteria for iit jee rank this wouldnt have been the case..
