      Hi,

Your GMAT score, academic qualifications and work experience are good enough to get into some of the decent B-Schools. I suggest you to come up with a list of B-Schools that you intend to pursue your MBA. You can do this by going through our School Finder Tool using which you can apply to some of the top B-Schools abroad.

  3. From the trivia question GMAT Prep- Quantitative Section #205: I have 2 different wine bottles. If I want to drink one glass of wine every day, each bottle contains enough wine for 2 glasses, and I select one bottle of wine randomly each day, what is the probability that I finish one bottle completely before opening the second one?

lets make it from the basis of probability probability= no. of cases asked/ total no. of cases possible. Now no. of cases asked= either bottle being empty. say we had to choose the no. of cases in 2 days i.e XX, Xy, YY, YX Now cases in which either goes empty=XX, YY i.e. 2 Total cases=4 , Hence probaility of either getting empty =2/4=1/2 So answer=1/2

  4. From the lesson Permutations and Combinations Basics

in the example given above i think the answer should be 17! * 18 * 2. Now you have choosen a block but we need to choose it from either of 18 left so 18 ways to make that block.

      Dear tushinform,

what you said is true…....one person between the two brothers could be anyone from the remaining 18 people. So that person can be selected in 18 ways. So the answer will be 18!x2.

But I think saka means one particular person between the two brothers. If that is the case what saka posted is true.
