Privacy Policy

• We collect what we need to run your account and track your learning progress.
• We use a few trusted service providers (for AI explanations, text-to-speech, analytics, and hosting). We do not sell your personal information.
• Some of what you type (questions, tutor chats, answers) is sent to AI providers to generate explanations. It is not used to train our own models.
• You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time.

MathPath is a service of LearnHub, based in Maryland, United States. When this policy says we, us, or LearnHub, it means the operator of MathPath. The app lives at mathpath.learnhub.com and the marketing site at learnhub.com.

Account information. When you create an account you choose a username and a password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, your email address, and your name from Google so we can create and recognize your account.

Learning data. As you use MathPath we record your activity so the product can adapt and show your progress: questions you attempt, your answers, mastery and skill progress, streaks, study sessions, and similar learning signals.

Content you submit. This includes messages you send to the AI tutor, questions or solution methods you contribute, comments, votes, and any reports or feedback you file.

Usage and device information. Through our analytics provider we collect standard technical data such as the pages and features you use, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and analytics cookies to understand how the product is used.

• To create your account, sign you in, and keep your session secure.
• To deliver the core experience: serve questions, track mastery, and adapt what you see next.
• To generate step-by-step explanations, hints, and tutor responses.
• To produce spoken audio of lessons when you use the listen feature.
• To understand usage, fix problems, and improve the product.
• To communicate with you about your account or important changes to the service.
• To protect against abuse, fraud, and security threats, and to comply with the law.

MathPath uses AI to generate explanations, hints, tutor replies, and audio. To do this, the relevant content (for example a question, your answer, or your chat message) is sent to our AI and audio providers, including Anthropic (for Claude-powered text) and ElevenLabs (for text-to-speech). These providers process the content to return a result and handle it under their own terms. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

AI responses can be wrong or incomplete. Please treat explanations as a learning aid, not as a guaranteed correct or authoritative answer.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share limited data with vendors who help us run MathPath, only as needed to provide the service:

• Anthropic and ElevenLabs: AI text and speech generation.
• Google: optional Google sign-in.
• PostHog: product analytics.
• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database): running and storing the application.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active so your progress is there when you return. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep limited records to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and serving the site over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if a problem occurs.

MathPath is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use MathPath only with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian, or school. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without the required consent, contact us at admin@learnhub.com and we will delete it.

You can review and update much of your profile from within the app, and you can sign out at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email admin@learnhub.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We operate from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there and in other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those where you live. By using MathPath, you understand your information will be handled as described in this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of MathPath after an update means you accept the revised policy.
